This week in a mastermind I was leading, one of my clients was preparing for a workshop this fall. “First, he said, I have to come up with a name.” This is such a common mistake for entrepreneurs.
We actually create most of our programs or events backwards. We want a fantastic name that will draw everyone to be a part of it.
In order to get people to your events, we have to offer the results people want. That is what will get them in your program or event.
Here’s the formula: 1. Find out what your tribe of potential clients want. What question would they ask you if they could have a few moments with you. 2. Decide what of those problems you will solve in
your program/event. 3. Now it’s time to think about what to name your program / event.
The name should refer to or offer the results that people ask for. (Note carefully the questions they want answered.)
